and tuesday. we saw upper 90s in south bay today, we're sitting in the 70s. 78 expected in campbell. those 90s are long gone because we are only going to climb to the upper 70s for pittsburgh. 69 in castro valley, 67 for sammy and row. we'll see the sunshine into the north bay. 63 for richmond, low 60s if you are headed to ocean beach. looking at the big weather story, we have low clouds in the forecast. look forward to cooler days ahead as an area of low pressure well off the coast is moving closer to our area. with that, we have the potential for some rainfall. your seven day around the bay forecast shows cloudy into the weekend, temperatures in the mid 70s at best, 10% chance for sunday, increased to 20% chance. we are tracking a storm well off the coast but it could bring rain drops to the bay area. at 6:20 that's a look at your forecast. on traffic now with george. >> we're still recovering from delays at one time characterized by bart as major delays from east bay into san francisco and therefore out to sfo. they are clearing those. some commute could be delayed as much as 20 minutes. as

morning. i'm tori campbell. it's monday, october 1st. >>> the search continues this morning for two missing men off the san mateo coast. lorraine blanco near hedgen point where the men disappeared where their boat capsized yesterday. good morning, lorraine. >> reporter: good morning, tori. i just got off the boat with the coast gurd. they say they have a cutter boat off the coast. the helicopter is climbing past us. an 18-foot stripper capsized around 10:30 -- i should say striper, capsized around 10:30, a little over 20 miles from hoof man bay. one of the missing men is pin you ming of san francisco. >> he's a good brother, good husband, good son to the family. >> reporter: we're told the two other men were taken to the hospital with hypothermia. the coast guard said fog made visibility difficult but they are mott sure what made the boat overturn. the men were not wearing life jackets. a coast guard went into the air a few minutes ago. during the live shot, we're gonna get closer and see if we can see them in the water searching for the men. lorraine blanco, ktvu channel 2 news. >>

campbell. it's tuesday october 2nd. we're following developing news of an early-morning fire in vallejo. ktvu channel reporter allie rasmus is live with the damage and information on how two people escaped the flames. good morning, allie. >> reporter: good morning. this fire started at:00 in the morning. now four hours later, investigators are going through the home trying to pinpoint what happened. firefighters are dousing the walls with water to make sure nothing flares up again. two people got out safely. more on that in a minute. first we want to show you the through. you can get a sense of how large this house is -- 3800 square feet. the size hans configuration of the house were both challenges for firefighters putting out this fire. so is the weather. it's warmer than unusual in vallejo and it is -- as it is in most pats. they had to bring in extra crews to relieve some of the firefighters who first responded to the fire. >> we went to three alarms on this. it -- it's a large house. it's an older house. my third alarm was to get crews on scene to help with the overall fire. >> rep

to "mornings on 2." i'm dave clark. >> i'm tori campbell. >>> five people are looking for temporary housing after a fire burned their home. ktvu channel 2 reporter claudine wong has been there since 4:30 this morning getting a close look at the damage. >> reporter: good morning, tori. we have daylight. we can get a look at the damage. you can see how hot this fire burned. there was a partial roof collapse this morning. so waiting for daylight was very important for investigations to make sure it was safe so they can figure out what areas are safe to go into as they try to figure this out. we just talked to a neighbor who practically could feel the heat of the fire from his deck. he told us what he saw. >> from what i could tell, it was another oakland hills fire. it was so intense and so big. i thought what's going on here? it was just the one house. but it was very scary. >> reporter: when he first saw the firefighter, the firefighters were not called get. they got a call at about 12:15 and they got here and saw the fire was surrounding threatening -- the fire was threatsenning surroundin

, this is ktvu mornings on 2. >> good morning, welcome to mornings on 2, i am dave clark. >> i am tori campbell, thursday, october 4th. we begin with developing news on the morning commute. bart has been experiencing major system-wide delays to the past two hours. ktvu's alex savidge is live there with developments. >> reporter: good morning, yes, this was a stalled work vehicle that had triggered delays earlier on. but that problem has been taken care of. we did just get word from bart a couple of minutes ago that all of their trains this morning are now running on time. earlier on the delays were significant. show you video of what it looks like here with video. a bart spokesman told us they were experiencing 40 minute delays on two lines from the east bay into san francisco. that would be those lines. this was because of a maintenance vehicle blocking tracks early this morning south of the mcarthur station. now that vehicle has been cleared out of the way but trains were backed up. everything started about 4:30 this morning when that vehicle that rides actually on the bart tracks itself came
